HI SUSHI AND SASHIMI 하이 스시 앤드 사시미 – Fresh, Affordable Sushi & Sashimi in Bayside, NY

I don’t usually post reviews but the experience was so nice that I just had to. The sushi was great and good quality and the price is amazing, 2 rolls is around 15-16 dollars and they will absolutely fill you up. The owner was lovely and gave us miso soup on the house. I also feel that the owner is very honest. He advised us to not get the big platters due to the size and time it would take. Mind you the place was empty since it’s a rainy weekday, so i could tell he was being honest and looking out for us. Overall it’s a nice establishment with well priced food, and it’s always good to support small businesses

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this place! I’m glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem! I really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi. I’ve been to a good number of sushi restaurants and this place is now definitely on my list for amazing quality sushi. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh! I got the sashimi deluxe and each piece melted in my mouth. Very tender and soft texture! I usually don’t like tuna, but the tuna here was very good. I also split the Pink Lady Roll with my friend and it was delicious too! My friend really enjoyed the hi sushi special roll and the crispy tempura roll. Super scrumptious! The staff gave us edamame and miso soup on the house! We really appreciate that. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some good sushi! I will definitely be coming back.

I recently dined in, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The sushi was exceptionally fresh, and the sashimi just melted in my mouth. I forgot to take pictures and accidentally ate some of the food before realizing it because it was just that good! The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ready with great recommendations and quick service. If you’re a sushi lover, HI SUSHI AND SASHIMI is an absolute must-visit. It was truly a pleasure to dine. Highly recommend!

Very fresh seafood sushi combo! Little cozy gem we just found out. We enjoyed our dinner there and it’s clean. The owners are very friendly. They recommended kids friendly sushi (without raw sashimi) for our babies too! Will drop by again for sure.

Great sushi for the price! Very fresh and delicious. The restaurant is small. There are about 4 tables for people to dine in, but it looks more like a take out spot. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Definitely consider this place for good value sushi.

My neighbor had ordered a roll platter at one of our get together's and it was pretty tasty so I decided to try out their x-large sushi and sashimi combo (cost $110) for Thanksgiving dinner with the family. It did not disappoint, the sashimi was fresh (no 비린내), the sushi and rolls were packed tight and did not fall apart. This will be my go-to sushi and roll place for parties since it is much closer than some of the other places that I have tried.

Such an awesome place, the fish is incredibly fresh and top quality, and the portions are really satisfying. The only downside was that the rice was a bit on the firm side (hence the four star), but overall it was a great experience with really nice people.
